Gehl Scavenger® Manure Spreaders are robust, with welded unibody construction. Scavenger® Spreaders are built to deliver top performance year after year. For commercial applications, a heavy-duty sludge/organic waste model is available in both trailer and truck-mounted configurations.

Scavenger® Manure Spreaders do an exceptional job spreading all types of manure, including liquid, semi-solid, solid, pen-packed, frozen and light-weight material such as chicken litter.
- DURABILITY. Scavenger® Manure Spreaders have heavy-duty construction throughout for greater durability — a reinforced expeller system, a fully-supported welded tank assembly, a rugged undercarriage and a heavy-duty drive system.
- OUTSTANDING APPLICATION CONTROL. The proven Variflo™ Discharge System uses square tooth paddles on an "overshot" discharge expeller to produce a uniform, small-particle spread distribution over a wide area.
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
HEAVY-DUTY ROUND-CORE SEGMENTED AUGER
A heavy-duty round-core segmented auger breaks up and blends manure with less chance of wrapping. The specially formed, self-cleaning auger paddles are set at a precise pitch to maintain proper material flow to the discharge expeller.
DOUBLE-ACTING HYDRAULIC CYLINDER
A double-acting hydraulic cylinder powers the auger both up and down to keep material moving. A hydraulic valve provides uniform parallel auger movement when the auger is moved up or down.
REVERSIBLE BOLT-ON SQUARE-TOOTH PADDLES
The reversible bolt-on square-tooth paddles rip, shred and propel material with an "over-shot" action for more even spread patterns. Expellers are 30" or 40" wide depending on the model.
CONSISTENT APPLICATION CONTROL
Consistent application control is achieved with the Gehl Variflo™ discharge system, which combines a hydraulic gate and a high-speed solid-welded expeller to deliver complete application control. Adjustable tank retainers provide a positive seal to minimize leakage.
EFFICIENT, POSITIVE DRIVE-CHAIN SYSTEM
The efficient, positive drive-chain system is easy to maintain. Tractor power is smoothly and efficiently transferred through a strong, heavy-duty drive system. Two independent shear devices provide protection for the auger and expeller.
POLYETHYLENE LEFT-SIDE TANK LINER
The standard polyethylene left-side tank liner provides a slick surface so material slides down to the auger.
HIGHWAY LIGHTING SYSTEM
A highway lighting system is standard equipment for added safety during road travel. The lighting system connects to the 7-pin tractor receptacle.
